There is residual liquid ammonia at the quick-connect fitting between the tank truck and the crane pipe after ammonia unloading. How do you guys deal with residues? Is there a way to recycle it?
No, usually it’s done directly – once the quick connector is removed, it’s immediately rinsed with water

Well, there’s nothing you can do about it; the quick connector comes with only a short tube of about 20 centimeters, so there really isn’t much to use
Install a tee and valves in the liquid-phase pipe of the dip pipe, and place a water tank next to it; after the liquid ammonia has been unloaded, simply open the valve on the tee.
Using nitrogen pressure for unloading can effectively prevent the accumulation of ammonia liquid in short pipes.
