For the general contracting project, all control valves use Yongtai positioners. How are Yongtai’s products? Thank you
Yongtai – could it refer to the YT series?
We use SMC and Yamaki positioners, Samson, etc.; I’ve never heard of this one
For the YT series of positioners, we have only used the mechanical type; their quality is fine. Anyway, those from Wu Zhong are also good, and their quality is normal as well. . Haha
It’s cheap; it should be sufficient in most cases. Isn’t the warranty usually one year?
Don’t focus only on the positioner; the valve is more crucial. No matter how good the positioner is, it’s the valve that matters. The intelligence of positioners merely reduces the workload for instrument technicians; however, problems with valves create an even greater workload for them
Now, Yongtai in South Korea has been fully acquired by the British company ROTORK. If their quality were poor, would ROTORK even want to acquire them? Hehe, but be sure not to buy fake versions – there are many high-quality imitations available on the market.
We have some YT-3000 units, but I’ve never seen them used in any particular manufacturing process; I haven’t seen the actual devices themselves, only the manuals, haha
