May I ask what property of the medium determines the bottom temperature of a distillation tower?
It is related to the operating pressure and medium composition of the tower.

The bottom temperature of the distillation column is determined by the reboiler reflux rate and the total heat transfer, and can be calculated using the energy balance for the stripping section. Correction: Distillation operations use the bubble point of mixtures, not the boiling point of pure substances.
