How to protect equipment during the rainy season

During the rainy season, when rainwater flows through our upper cable trays and into the galvanized pipes, the explosion-proof hoses allow water to flow back into our equipment. Once water gets inside, it cannot exit, which causes the equipment to experience a single or multiple short circuits – a very annoying situation. So how do we prevent rain from seeping in? I was wondering if any of my colleagues have any good methods!
Things like this happen very rarely. The sealing of the wire ducts is not impressive, but few of the cables inside have connectors; and if there are connectors, they are tightly covered with insulating tape.
Glue can be applied at the junction of the galvanized pipe and the cable tray, and the tray cover must be secured in place.
It is recommended to make some drain holes at the bottom of the galvanized pipe; that’s exactly what we did! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Holes are made at the bottom of the cable tray for drainage. It is also important to note that much of the rainwater enters the cable box along the outside of the conduit; therefore, the conduit should be connected to the locator from the bottom upwards, rather than being connected from above downwards. In addition, a layer of silicone sealant should be applied to the outside of the wire-piercing explosion-proof hose as well as its connections to prevent water from entering
I really haven’t encountered that before~~ Generally, there are drainage holes at the bottom of cable trays. As for wire ducts and flexible wiring hoses, they are usually introduced to the equipment from below, so there’s little possibility of rainwater flowing back in~~
