The EDV6000 technology is used for catalyzing flue gas – can it achieve a flue gas PM level of less than 10 mg/m3n?
Regarding the technology of EDV6000, there are not many companies in China that have achieved success with it at present.

Whether it is the EDV6000, EDV7000, or WGS+, a special anti-clogging vane mist eliminator must be installed before the flue gas exits the tower; this device ensures efficient and stable operation in removing sulfate-containing droplets, mist, and particle aggregates from the flue gas, so that the total amount of particulates, salt content, and droplets/mist in the emitted flue gas meet the required standards. Relying solely on the filtration module and water droplet separator included in the EDV process package is insufficient to truly meet the emission requirements for FCCU flue gas as specified in the GB31570-2015** environmental protection standards. Not to mention 10mg/Nm^3?
The EDV process is more widely used in petroleum refining companies in the south, while it is less utilized in the north. Winters in the north are extremely cold, and the flue gas emitted from chimneys contains a large amount of liquid droplets and foam, which causes ice to form in thick layers on the ground around the equipment, as well as on pipe racks, ductwork, rooftops, and so on – it’s quite obvious! The advantage of EDV is its good dust removal efficiency during washing, but more liquid droplets and foam end up in the flue gas, leading to suboptimal gas-liquid separation performance by the water droplet separator.
