I’m not yet familiar with diaphragm pumps; I came across them while selecting equipment. I would like to ask: what pressure can diaphragm pumps generally achieve? What are their characteristics or limitations in use?
Looking at the type of drive, diaphragm pumps are widely used in long-distance pipelines.
It depends on your traffic volume; pressure isn’t an issue. The main problem with this type of pump is that its flow rate isn’t very high, and it’s also necessary to pay attention to whether the material tends to vaporize easily.
Diaphragm pumps also require selection based on the pressure you need; a lower pushing force means a lower required pressure as well
The compressive force can theoretically be infinite; as long as the crankshaft and piston rod are strong enough to prevent the diaphragm from being crushed, the motor will not burn out. The downside is low efficiency and pulsating pressure.
What was said on the 5th floor makes sense; the outlet pressure of positive displacement pumps depends on the back pressure, and as long as the equipment can withstand it, the pressure can reach infinity
The outlet pressure depends on the pipeline backpressure.

Which diaphragm pump? Is it electric for starting?~~ I’ve seen hydraulic-electric types with a maximum outlet pressure of 70 BAR~~
