Reciprocating compressor start without pressure

By \"without pressure,\" does it mean that the pressure inside the machine must be 0 when the compressor starts? If there is a return pipe connecting from the outlet to the inlet, is it considered pressure-free?
It should refer to the unloader being set at 0 load.
It should be 0 load, right? With the inlet and outlet of the compressor fully open, the inlet pressure will eventually reach equilibrium; it’s impossible for there to be no pressure~~~
It’s not that the pressure inside the machine is zero, but rather that the load adjustment is set at zero.
