The detailed information you wish to share: A heat exchanger project is currently under design for use in the upstream oil field sector, specifically within combined stations, for the dehydration and heating of crude oil containing water. Crude oil production is characterized by high levels of impurities, complex ions, and a high chloride ion content (several thousand). It also contains a small amount of H2S. The temperature of the crude oil entering the heat exchanger is 40°C, while the temperature after passing through the heat exchanger is 70°C. I heard that wide-channel plate heat exchangers can be used for media with high flow rates, solid impurities, and high viscosity, as compared to ordinary plate heat exchangers. Desired goal: We are currently seeking information from oil fields that have used this type of heat exchanger. It would be helpful to have a brief description of the oil field in question, as well as details regarding the inlet and outlet temperatures of the crude oil, the type of ions involved, the date when the heat exchanger was put into operation, its operating conditions, any existing problems, and the materials used in its construction. I only have foreign application examples here; there are none from China. Wide-spacing plate types come in different forms; the gasket type results in expensive spare parts and costly maintenance. Those with contact points need to be cleaned regularly. But things abroad are just too expensive. Please first see if you can find one domestically.
