Our inlet water pH is around 8, while the pH of the effluent from the anaerobic tank is less than 6. How can we increase the pH of the effluent from the anaerobic tank? The water temperature is 20 degrees, and aside from a low pH, all parameters of the total effluent meet the standards
This indicates that the degree of hydrolysis and acidification in your anaerobic tank is relatively high, so the organic nitrogen content is likely low. On the other hand, apart from pH, all other parameters of the effluent are within acceptable limits, which is quite good. You might try adjusting the alkalinity before entering the anaerobic stage.
Adjust the pH value and raise the water temperature.
