Instrument grounding is divided into protective grounding, operational grounding, anti-static grounding, and intrinsically safe grounding. Typically, both the protected areas and the work areas are connected to the electrical grounding grid through a main busbar. The problem is that in some projects, the grounding point required for protection is often separated from the working site. Under what circumstances is a separate grounding point provided at the working site, that is, instead of sharing a grounding electrode with the protection ground, it is connected to the grounding electrode at the working site?

Well, domestic standards generally require combined grounding, with the protective ground and the working ground connected together. Are there any international standards that stipulate that a separate grounding electrode should be used for the working ground?
