I would like to ask the teachers: during the pipeline water pressure testing, what impact or even harm does the water supplied to the reforming pre-hydrogenation reactor and heat exchangers have on these devices? Will it cause damage to the internal components? What adverse effects will it have on the future charging and use of the reactor if water ingress is not detected in time? Thank you for your advice!

Under normal circumstances, we use blind flanges for isolation to prevent water from entering. The problem is that some reaction systems require very strict water levels, measured in ppm levels, and it’s very difficult to replace the water in such systems.
After the water pressure is applied, isn’t it still necessary to use air for purging? Just blow it out.
