At the current stage, if it is based on the original design, the mixer in the slurry tank can only be replaced during maintenance when replacing the burner; if the liquid level is controlled too low, it is easy to cause a decrease in the pressure at the inlet of the slurry pump ; Without the mixer running, the circulation effect of the slurry pump is not very good ; Operating without a stirrer for extended periods can lead to issues such as large fluctuations in the coal slurry volume, which makes it easy for the gasifier to trip due to interlocks. . .

Operating at a low liquid level is sufficient! There’s nothing else to consider; I have handled this situation many times before. The low liquid level is primarily intended to ensure the stability of the coal slurry, reduce its residence time in the tank, and prevent stratification as well as the formation of solid deposits!
Appropriately lower the level in the slurry tank, and use a backup pump to increase slurry circulation.
Does the conical bottom have a fluidization nozzle? If so, nitrogen can be introduced. It also depends on the piping for the slurry tank and the transfer pump during design
I’m not sure what the diameter of your slurry tank is; does it have a conical bottom? What is the angle of that conical bottom?
