What are the minor commodities downstream of propane? There’s propylene oxide, MMA, butyl octyl alcohol, acrylonitrile, acids, esters, phenol propyl ethers, and epichlorohydrin. What else can be produced besides these, and what company technologies are used?
EPDM; the source of its technology is unclear, but Jihua in China seems to possess such technology.

Can propane be used directly to produce these products, or does it need to be dehydrogenated into propylene first before further processing?
