Proper cleaning methods for heat exchangers: During the long-term operation of heat exchange equipment, various factors such as corrosion, erosion, scale formation, and coking by the working medium cause scaling to occur to varying degrees on both the inner and outer surfaces of the tubes, which can even lead to blockages. Therefore, thorough cleaning must be carried out during shutdown for maintenance. Common cleaning (scrubbing) methods include air scouring, water washing, steam scouring, chemical cleaning, and mechanical cleaning. III. Problems with traditional cleaning methods Common traditional cleaning methods include mechanical approaches (scraping, brushing), high-pressure water, and chemical cleaning (acid cleaning). However, there are many problems associated with these methods: 1. They cannot completely remove deposits such as scale. 2. Acids cause corrosion in the equipment, leading to defects. 3.
