Is it normal for the steam discharge from the high-pressure side shaft seal to be higher than that from the low-pressure side shaft seal? Why? I seek advice from experts

It is not abnormal for the steam discharge volume from the high-pressure side shaft seal to be higher than that from the low-pressure side shaft seal; the amount of steam discharged is related to the volume of air intake, the sealing structure, and the amount of smoke emitted； First, ensure the sealing is proper; second, consider whether there are any issues.
It would be good to also provide the shaft displacement and vibration values. Normally, the axial thrust is directed toward the low-pressure side.
