Heat exchanger: The design temperature on the tube side is 580 degrees Celsius, with nitrogen (containing ammonia) as the fluid flowing through the tubes; the design temperature on the shell side is 40 degrees Celsius, with water as the fluid. I would like to ask what this gasket is made of? The main material is S30408. The main considerations are the corrosion of the sealing ring caused by temperature and ammonia~~
What’s the pressure? If it’s not very high, use Foresi High-Temperature Solidite.

The temperature is too high; the sealing ring cannot be used. The typical high-temperature burnout temperature for ordinary graphite is around 350°C, while that for inert graphite is around 500°C. Fluxi high-temperature Solidite gaskets can be used, as well as Aizhi’s high-temperature resistant gaskets.

This high-temperature PTFE material has a physical structure similar to that of graphite; it can be used as material for sheet gaskets, as filler for wound gaskets, and as a facing for toothed gaskets. For inert graphite or oxidation-resistant graphite, it’s just a concept. 500 degrees Celsius is applied in oxidation-free conditions; see HG20606 for details
The change gasket combines the resilience and compressibility of wound gaskets with the rigidity of serrated gaskets, offering higher cyclic resistance compared to wound gaskets and serrated gaskets. I’ll have the physical item for you to see if I get the chance, hehe
