The registration period is about to end and I’m facing unemployment – what should I do?

According to the regulations, the registration period for registered engineers is 3 years; if they wish to continue practicing after this period expires, they must apply for an extension of registration 30 days before the expiration date. My certificate will have been registered for three full years by the end of the year; my original employer terminated my contract since there were no projects available, and I have not yet found a suitable employer to transfer my registration to. Does anyone here know what to do in this situation? What are the consequences of missing the renewal deadline? Thank you all for your help!

With this certificate, one can travel anywhere without worry; there’s no need to be concerned about being a registered chemical engineer either. :lol
Chemical industry certificates are no longer valuable; they’re worth only about 10,000 yuan per year. Most also require a single social security account, which makes it impossible to proceed; however, transfer registration might be an option – ask some shady companies for help.
