I have been working in chemical engineering design for 5 years and have obtained an intermediate professional title; I am based in the Anhui region. When can I apply for a senior professional title? How many papers are required? Are computer and English exempt from exams?
I don’t understand; why need a senior professional title? There are no benefits even after retirement.
Our company’s policy states that candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher, and at least one year of work experience after graduation to be promoted to \"Assistant Engineer\". It takes 4 years as an assistant engineer before one is eligible to apply for the title of \"Intermediate Engineer\", and 5 years as an intermediate engineer before eligibility for the title of \"Senior Engineer\" arises. At least one paper in the past 5 years (as sole author or first author, **peer-reviewed journal**).
It has nothing to do with having a master’s degree; for the intermediate level, it is granted directly. For senior engineers, it is five years after obtaining an intermediate professional title; master’s degree holders still need to take exams in English and computer skills, and two research papers are also required. It’s basically like this, right?
This post was last edited by Editor Tan from the magazine company on 2016-2-16 at 14:44. Graduates with a master’s degree can be promoted to intermediate engineers after 2–3 years, and after becoming intermediate engineers, they can be promoted to senior engineers after another 5 years. Three original papers need to be published. If one has passed the CET-6 while at school, they can be exempted from taking the Professional English test. The computer checks whether local policies exempt one from the exam; in other words, one must have worked for at least 2 years to be eligible for a senior engineer title. But preparations can now be made in this regard. Papers can be published in advance
After being promoted to intermediate engineer, one can be promoted to senior engineer after 5 years. As for the requirements, different evaluation organizations have their own specifications. . . Go to the place where you submitted the materials to check
Graduate students need to first obtain an intermediate level qualification, and after 5 years, they can apply for an advanced level qualification; Those with a doctorate and 3 years of work experience can be promoted to the senior level directly
Agree with the person above. In the Tianjin district, it requires four years of work after a graduate obtains the title of intermediate engineer ; 5 years after obtaining an intermediate professional title at the bachelor’s level.
I’ve never known how to apply for professional titles; what’s the use of it?
I am also in the Anhui region; I have been working as a postgraduate for 3 years. How can I apply for a junior or intermediate professional title?
You can consult the local Department of Human Resources and Social Security
