With seawater as the medium, what type of pipe material should be chosen, or how should internal anti-corrosion measures be implemented?
I forgot where I saw the relevant information; P
It’s 316L, but the price is high; the internal anti-corrosion treatment involves fluorocarbon spraying. It also depends on the diameter of the pipe and its length.
Commonly available ones include those with a steel lining made of PTFE, PO, PP, PE, as well as those coated by spraying or rolling
Pipes are available in sizes ranging from 2 inches to 20 inches. I was told that epoxy resin, 3PE, and powder coating are used; does anyone know if there is a method that is better resistant to seawater corrosion?
QO subsea pipeline pipes from the API 5L series can be considered. Such as X65QO, X80QO, and so on.
