For a major overhaul of the calcination furnace, including the replacement of the furnace roof and the pouring of acid-resistant castables, the furnace is out of service for over 20 days – how should it be dried? What is the furnace heating curve like? How many days does it need to be baked? Solve it, thank you!

After heating to 800 degrees, we maintained that temperature for 24 hours before starting to cool down; additionally, 8 holes of 76 each were made around the top of the furnace to facilitate the release of steam

Three days of drying is too short; the roof of the oven is likely to collapse, so it’s better to dry it for several more days
When heating the furnace, it is advisable to make several small holes of 50 mm in diameter around the top of the furnace; this helps with the evaporation of water vapor after it is started up. Weld everything together only after the water vapor can no longer be seen
Only 3 days were given; there was nothing to do.
