The crude gas oil pump in our plant’s catalytic unit is a multi-stage pump. Before replacing the bearings in the motor, the horizontal vibration level reached up to 7.8 mm/s. After the bearings were replaced, when the motor was tested with the foot bolts loosened, both horizontal and vertical vibration levels were below 1 mm/s. However, when the motor was tested after connecting the coupling, the horizontal vibration level exceeded 13 mm/s, while the vertical vibration level remained below 3 mm/s; Then the coupling was disconnected without loosening the foot bolts; the maximum horizontal vibration value reached 10 mm/s, while the vertical vibration value did not exceed 3 mm/s. Additionally, the alignment error of our couplings is within 5 degrees. Please, everyone, help analyze it!
Use a feeler gauge to check if there are any gaps at the four corners of the motor; just fix those gaps.

If the horizontal vibration of the motor at no load reaches 10, it is not acceptable; it is necessary to check for any loose connections, as loose connections have little to do with the alignment of the couplings
This has nothing to do with alignment~ There are loose points on the motor feet, and the suggestion given on the 3rd floor is correct. Use a feeler gauge to find the loose spot
