Is alkali washing required for the shutdown and maintenance of the hydrogenation reaction system? What base should be used for washing? How to wash it?
For foreign process packages, neither 347 material nor 321 is recommended for alkali washing. In the past, small pipe connections cracked due to alkali washing; now, the design eliminates alkali-washed joints as well as condensate drainage.
