I currently have a piston cylinder with a stroke of 300 mm; how should I proceed to install a positioner? Thank you, thank you!
You didn’t even specify whether it is a rotary actuator or a linear actuator. Angle travel actuators are installed in a standard manner, without the need for any special mounting connectors. For linear actuators, it is necessary to enlarge the swing rod of the positioner; our factory has equipped high-stroke gate valves with positioners by simply designing an extended swing rod.
300mm must be a straight-stroke type! The feedback rod of the extended positioner – the full stroke of the valve is sufficient as long as it remains within the effective angle range of the positioner
