Should automatic sprinkler systems be installed in Class C warehouses?

According to Article 8.5.1 of the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings, automatic fire suppression systems should be installed in the following locations. Unless it is not appropriate to use water for protection or extinguishing fires, or unless otherwise specified in this code, automatic sprinkler systems are recommended: 1. The opening and cleaning workshops in cotton spinning mills with 50,000 or more spindles； Classification and carding workshops for linen mills with 5,000 or more spindles ； The drying and sorting areas in the match factory ； The pre-forming, molding, slicing, and embossing sections of a foam plastic factory ； Woodworking factories with a floor area of over 1500 m2 ； Single-story or multi-story factories for shoe manufacturing, garment production, toy manufacturing, and electronics, with a floor area of more than 1500 m2 or a total construction area of more than 3000 m2 ； High-rise Class C factory building ； Preparation area for aircraft engine test bench ； Class C underground plant with a building area of over 500 m2 ； 　 　2 Warehouses for cotton, wool, silk, linen, synthetic fibers, furs, and their products, each with a floor area of more than 1000 m2 ； Each match warehouse with a floor area of over 600 m2 ； Air mail bag storage area in the postal building with a construction area of over 500 m2 ； Underground warehouses for flammable materials with a building area of over 500 m2 ； High-rise warehouses and multi-story warehouses for flammable and combustible items (excluding cold storage) ； 　 　3 Theaters of first class, second class, or other classes with 1,500 seats or more ； A hall or auditorium with over 2,000 seats ； A stadium with over 3,000 seats ； Indoor staff rest areas and equipment rooms in stadiums with over 5,000 people ； 　　 4 Exhibition buildings, shops, hotel buildings, as well as ward blocks, outpatient departments, and operating theaters of similar scale in hospitals, where the floor area of any one floor is greater than 1500 m2 or the total building area is greater than 3000 m2 ； Underground stores with a floor area of more than 500 m2 ； 　 　5 Office buildings and similar structures with a central air conditioning system equipped with supply and return air ducts (tubes), and a total construction area of more than 3000 m2 ； 　　 6 Ground-based, semi-underground, or above-ground entertainment venues for singing, dancing, watching movies, and playing games that are located on four floors or more, or those situated on the first, second, or third floors of a building with each floor having a construction area of more than 300 m2 (excluding swimming pools) ； 　　 7 Libraries with a collection of over 500,000 books. If your warehouse has an area of over 1500 M2, an automatic fire suppression system should be installed

According to GB50016-2014 Code for Building Design: Section 8.3.2: “8.3.2 Except as otherwise specified in this code and in those warehouses where water protection or fire extinguishing is not appropriate, the following warehouses shall be equipped with automatic fire extinguishing systems, preferably automatic sprinkler systems: 7 Single-story or multi-story warehouses storing Class C goods, with a floor area of more than 1500 m2 or a total building area of more than 5000 m2.” ” 8.3.2 is mandatory; you must install an automatic fire extinguishing system.

I’d like to borrow your expertise to ask a question: if three Class C warehouses are built together, separated by firewalls, with each warehouse having a capacity of no more than 1500, but the total capacity exceeding 1500, is it still necessary to install automatic sprinkler systems? Thank you
