What we use on site are reciprocating compressors from Shenyang Yuanda, with motors from Nanyang Explosion-Proof. The compression process involves two stages with three compressors each. A few days ago, the generator produced unusual noises; we shut down the machine and tested the motor individually. While the motor was running, there was an electromagnetic noise similar to that produced by cutting magnetic field lines – it was quite loud and shrill in tone. As soon as the power to the motor was cut off, while the motor was still rotating, the noise disappeared immediately. Please, experts, help us analyze this situation! ! ! ! Thank you
Has the current fluctuation increased, and is there vibration in the motor?

Check the alignment between the motor and the frame – does the motor use bearings or bushings? It’s also possible that the motor is not properly lubricated
There is no alignment issue. When the compressor and motor are separated, the single-motor setup still makes noise; the bearings should also be fine, as rotation due to inertia occurs without any sound once the motor is powered off, and the noise disappears immediately at that moment
