I need help: I want to add a small platform to the exterior of a two-story steel structure. How should I calculate the materials required? What are the relevant standards and requirements? Thank you

The main structure seen is one consisting of horizontal frames with diagonal supports; the key is to have appropriate diagonal support points. I won’t do the specific calculations. If the eunuch permits it, we also have vertical supports that can be added on the side for our installation.
