On July 13, 2015, the first hydrogen pressurized turbine expansion unit, which was independently developed and designed by Hangyang Expander Co., Ltd., was successfully commissioned in the new plant area of Luqing Petrochemical in Shouguang, Shandong. On July 14, the second unit was also successfully commissioned. The expander in this project is designed to operate at a speed of 51,000 r/min, with the hydrogen content in the working medium exceeding 93% under design conditions. Both units have excellent operational performance metrics, and they have received high praise from the users. Does anyone know anything about this expander? Please introduce its specifications and operating conditions.

No, there is a project that requires the use of syngas for expansion and pressure reduction – the volume of gas is 230,000 standard cubic meters, and the pressure needs to be reduced from 60 kg to 30 kg. We are currently gathering information on syngas expanders.
