Due to constraints, the company uses pumps to transport the highly acidic slurry of welding mud through PVC steel hoses; the temperature is around 50 to 60 degrees, and the pressure is approximately 0.3 MPa. I had been using a brand from Weifang all this time, and it worked pretty well. But starting this year, for some reason, the pipes keep breaking due to pressure. I’m looking for advice: has anyone used steel wire tubes before? If they work well, please recommend them. Or are there any other types of tubes that could be used as alternatives in this situation?
What is the diameter? This type of pipe is quite commonly used; it’s unlikely that such high temperatures and pressures exist simultaneously. If possible, it is still recommended to use a flexible metal hose
Pipe diameter 40, 50. I know that PVC steel wire hoses can withstand relatively high negative pressures; as for positive pressures, at temperatures of 40-50 degrees Celsius, they should be able to handle 3 atmospheres of pressure without any problems, right?

Was it determined that it broke due to stress? This type of tube, with its thick walls, can easily handle pressures of forty to fifty kilograms without any problem
Just place it on the ground as a feed pipe, cut it in the middle; aside from pressure, there should be no other problems. Steel wire tubes are generally resistant to negative pressure; I checked the product descriptions of several manufacturers, and in most cases the maximum positive pressure is 1 atmosphere.
When using such tubes, it is important to clean them regularly and take good care of them; otherwise, they will also age. We use it; it’s quite convenient. If you want to replace it, use a stainless steel hose. Heavier but longer-lasting.
