Today, some experts suggested starting with a smaller domestic DCS system, and then purchasing another DCS system for future expansion and upgrades, in order to integrate the old system into one unified system. It seems unlikely that different DCS systems can be integrated together. If anyone downstairs is able to do it, please give an example:
The term \"integration\" is too broad; it’s not realistic to fully integrate two separate DCS systems from different manufacturers, as the configuration software for the controllers must remain separate. On a smaller scale, integration is still possible – by incurring some costs and using standard communication methods, it’s feasible to achieve unified monitoring of the two systems. This is similar to how DCS systems can incorporate PLC data through MODBUS communication. Well, nowadays DCS systems are pretty stable and their prices are quite low – so why go ahead and use two different systems? For domestic DCS systems, turn to me – with a combination of technical expertise and sales skills, I’ll take care of everything for you

No, different models of DCS from the same brand cannot be integrated either; they can only communicate with each other

I think integration isn’t about combining two DCS systems into one DCS system. If that’s the case, it’s better to add cards to the existing DCS system for expansion; in general, it is possible to increase the number of points in a DCS system. PLC systems can communicate with DCS systems, and DCS systems can also communicate with each other. However, this does not mean that the I/O points in two DCS systems can be displayed and controlled by one another. I think your company wants to create a secondary network that allows one PC to display the operating status of two sets of DCS systems.
