I have two questions regarding rotary vane blowers and would appreciate your guidance. A Roots blower is a positive-displacement blower, which means that at a constant speed, the amount of gas it can transport remains roughly constant. Also, does the pressure-raising capacity of a Roots blower change when the speed stays the same, as the motor power increases? (Note: Currently, one of the steam Roots blowers in the project does not have sufficient pressure-raising capacity. The manufacturer states that replacing the existing 45kw motor with a 90kw motor will meet the requirements, while the Roots blower itself remains unchanged.)
What is your current draw at the moment? Is there any overcurrent? It seems useless if you don’t replace the motor.
It depends on how much the fan’s capacity is insufficient, as well as the current speed of the motor – is there any room for increasing its speed?
The current boosting capacity is only around 29 kPa, with no overcurrent issue; I hope it can reach 45 kPa. The manufacturer says the motor can be replaced directly
Rotational speed: 1450 r/min; boost pressure increased from 29 kPa to 45 kPa
It seems you’re quite professional, and you enjoy answering questions on forums and helping others; it looks like you’d be well-suited to be a moderator or join a technical team. How do you think about that?

Replacing the motor definitely means changing the number of poles (and thus the speed). What is the current speed in revolutions per minute? Too high a rotation speed is detrimental to the fan
Help to upvote – I have the same question: if the fan doesn’t change and its speed remains unchanged, how can pressure be increased? That’s impossible
Not all fans come with valves!
The original fan was 4-pole with a speed of 1450 revolutions per minute; 45KW; if it’s changed to 90KW, it will definitely become a 2-pole version with 2900 revolutions per minute, still with increased speed and pressure
