There are now many methods for oil removal. Self-regulation methods involve adjusting the on-site operations and the quality of the coal used; another approach is to add additional oil removal equipment, though this is rather difficult due to space constraints. Currently, the most common method is one that makes use of chemicals as aids, and no more advanced methods exist – this is also the approach adopted in Europe and the United States. Our factory also adds chemicals to ammonia water, and the results are quite good. It's acceptable.
I’ll briefly explain the issue mentioned by the original poster. First of all, you need to confirm one thing: does your remaining ammonia solution already contain a high level of oil? If the oil content is already high, it indicates that your ammonia-tar system is not functioning properly; as a result, the oil content in the circulating ammonia will be even higher. The use of such circulating ammonia in the system further complicates the task of maintaining its cleanliness. Using residual ammonia with a high oil content for dust removal in coke ovens only makes things worse.
