Alkali plant wastewater mainly contains ammonium chloride and carbonates (bicarbonates), which are difficult to treat in conventional wastewater treatment plants. Are there any other treatment methods?
If the concentration is high, it is best to use evaporation crystallization for separation.
Are there any component contents? If the concentration is high, it can be further concentrated and recrystallized; if the concentration is low, resin desalination can be considered before reuse. Both ammonium chloride and bicarbonates are weakly basic salts; using weak acid cation resins yields the best results, as it allows full utilization of the advantages of these resins in terms of high specific surface area. If necessary, relevant samples can be provided for testing.
