30 yuan was a mistake; as long as the expenses and income are balanced it’s fine. 9 yuan per person, so the total expenditure is 27 yuan. The boss takes 25 yuan as accommodation fee, and the staff takes 2 yuan as tip; the total income is also 27 yuan, thus the expenses and income are balanced

This is incorrect; 2 yuan is part of 27 yuan. 27 – 2 = 25, that’s correct. 27 + 2 = 29 doesn’t make sense. It should be 3 X 9 = 27 yuan – 2 yuan kept by the waiter = 25 yuan. The three people paid 27 yuan; the waiter kept 2 yuan for himself, and the owner received 25 yuan.
It’s just like the law of conservation of mass in a device. The same substance can be guessed to be either at the top of the tower or at the bottom of it. It doesn’t feel right; it’s just there in the tower!

27+2=bullshit. 27 represents the amount spent, and 2 represents the income; expenses + income = bullshit, as there’s no calculation for this
