I often see reports using phrases such as \"a new approach to safety has been developed in a certain place\" or \"new methods have been introduced.\" Do you think such expressions are appropriate? Does safety work require continuous innovation?
Personally, I think it is necessary; any innovation in safety management that can raise employees’ awareness of safety and help prevent accidents is something that should be pursued.

Must we keep up with the times? How do I get in? Safety comes first; what rank does safety take after that? I’ve heard that security doesn’t require any innovation; it’s sufficient to implement the existing methods, measures, and systems properly. What do you think?

With the continuous advancement of science and technology, new technologies and equipment are not only applied in modern production; as a result, safety issues also evolve. Therefore, our theories and methods of safety management need to keep up with the times in order to meet the demands of ongoing development.
Phased development is certainly necessary; what’s not needed are new safety slogans every day. The underlying mindset isn’t given proper attention – there’s only a constant changing of slogans. By earnestly reflecting on old methods and past lessons learned, one can continue to improve.
