Issues encountered in remote data acquisition

A remote data acquisition system was installed at the LNG facility, and once installed the system functioned properly. However, during subsequent observations, it was found that the data from the flow meter among the data transmitted was intermittent. It was initially thought that the problem was due to poor contact in the flow meter’s transmission line, but an inspection of the flow meter’s wiring revealed no such issues. The RTU and GBOX were replaced again, but the problem persisted; until there was no data from the flow meter at all, yet the flow meter still had external power signals and remote transmission signals. I hope someone who is an expert in data collection can offer some advice to help identify this issue. Thank you all. :)
Is the signal output by the flow meter to the signal acquisition system an electrical current signal or a digital signal? If it is a current signal, then special attention must be paid to the settings in the signal acquisition system, as this current is an active signal; the signal acquisition system cannot supply power to this signal path, otherwise errors will occur. Please verify this, OP.
