Dear sea friends: Our company’s oil-containing wastewater wells require the installation of 2 self-priming pumps (1 in use and 1 as a backup). Which domestic brand of self-priming pump would be suitable and reliable for this purpose? Operating conditions are as follows: Rated flow rate: 22 m3/hr. Pump inlet pressure: atmospheric pressure. Pump outlet pressure: 3.5 kg (gauge). Head: 35 m (above ground) + 5.5 m (below ground) = 40.5 m. Specific gravity of the fluid: 1.0. Fluid temperature: 30 degrees Celsius
Conventional self-priming pumps are generally not effective; it is recommended to use a horizontal centrifugal pump in combination with a siphon tank.
The pump is not large, so it is recommended to choose a vertical, seal-less self-priming pump
