Question regarding *ao acid exhaust treatment devices, and the materials used in such devices
Systems containing *ao acid generally use aluminum-based equipment; I have seen examples of aluminum storage tanks for concentrated *ao acid. *Ao acid can be absorbed using alkaline solutions, and processes such as SCR can also be tried.
It’s 98%*ao acid stored in aluminum tanks, and the pipes are also made of aluminum. The question is: what material should be used for the pipes that carry the *ao acid to the exhaust gas absorption device? I plan to use two small tanks, one as a buffer tank to prevent backflow, and another as a water tank for absorption. I’m not sure if this will work; I just don’t know if PPR material can be used for the pipes carrying *ao acid exhaust gases

{:3_50:} Can’t we use enamel? It’s used a lot in aluminum storage tanks. You need to wash them with water and then with alkali; one round of washing is probably not enough. Use two small washing towers, filling them with enamel-lined packing. PPR should work fine; if not, you can prepare PPR materials by yourself and soak them in the solution for a few days to see

Using glass lining should be no problem. Smoky exhaust is also generated only during unloading; is it necessary to use a set of absorption devices to capture it? ? ?
You can try a wash first; if the exhaust test passes, that’s fine. If not, use an alkaline wash. As for a buffer tank, it might not be necessary – you can just use a scrubber tower, with a suction pipe inserted into the tank to absorb the substances, and the results will be good enough
With a scrubber tower, there is definitely no need for a buffer tank. Thank you. It seems at least two levels of absorption are required
