(1) Domestic enterprises that produce stainless steel sintered filter elements have relatively weak research and development capabilities. Some well-known foreign manufacturers of such filter elements have their own R&D centers, possess strong capabilities for independent development, and are able to develop products in tandem with original equipment manufacturers, or even ahead of them； (2) The industrial infrastructure related to stainless steel sintered filter elements, including production equipment, testing equipment, filtering materials, testing materials, adhesives, etc., is relatively underdeveloped; in particular, filtering materials rely heavily on imports ； (3) Most enterprises producing stainless steel sintered filters are small in scale, with low production concentration; there is severe phenomenon of repetitive construction at a low level, resulting in an overcapacity for low-end stainless steel sintered filter products ； (4) At present, there is a severe shortage of professional technicians, managers, and highly skilled workers in China’s stainless steel sintered filter element industry. This shortage makes it difficult to meet the talent needs resulting from the rapid development of the industry, thereby severely hindering technological progress and improvements in product quality within this sector.
