After one of our factory’s multi-stage centrifugal pumps, equipped with a sealing system of type P32+P52, was officially integrated into the system today, it was found that there was pressure in the P52 seal flushing fluid tank on the low-pressure side, preventing the addition of white oil to it. The high-voltage side is normal. Have any of you experts encountered this situation? How should it be handled?
The P52 scheme also relies on the pumping ring on the mechanical seal to establish circulation; check whether there are any issues with the pumping ring Furthermore, since the pressure in the sealant storage tank is similar to the pressure at the pump inlet, it is possible that the primary seal on the low-pressure side has leaked, allowing pressurized fluid to enter the secondary seal and thus causing an increase in the pressure in the P52 sealant tank.
