Recently, gasoline has often been present in the bottom of the desulfurization tower. What is the reason for gasoline being carried in the liquid at the bottom of the gasoline hydrodesulfurization tower?
The source issue is likely an excessive proportion of dry gas components, along with too many C3-C6 components. It is necessary to properly control the liquid level in the reflux tank at the top of the absorption tower; there must be sufficient space for gas-liquid separation. The temperature and pressure at the top also need to be well controlled, as an excessive amount of dry gas can also cause this problem!
Reduce the temperature of the high-pressure air cooling; check the defoaming screen in the liquid separation tank at the inlet of the low-pressure and circulating hydrogen desulfurization tower
Firstly, it is necessary to ensure proper gas-liquid separation at high pressures, so that hydrogen carries as little gasoline components as possible; as mentioned earlier, this will help to reduce the amount of gasoline at the bottom of the desulfurization tower. Secondly, it is important to control the ratio of hydrogen to amine solution, as well as the temperature difference, in order to improve the absorption efficiency and prevent foam formation on the tray surfaces (excessive amounts of gasoline components in the hydrogen can also cause foam formation on the trays)

Control the liquid level in the separator and the temperature after air cooling; shut down the system to check the defoamer screen in the liquid separation tank at the tower inlet
