There are 5 relatively mature processes for isobutane dehydration worldwide: UOP’s Oleflex process, Union Catalytic and Lummus’ Catofin process, Phillips’ STAR process, the Snamprogetti fluidized-bed dehydration FBD-4 process developed jointly by the Yaroslavl Research Institute in Russia and the Italian company Snamprogetti, and Linde’s own Linde process. I would like to ask the experts: what is the approximate price of these process packages? In particular, the prices of the process packages used in some projects that have already been put into operation in China are mainly provided by UOP and Lummus.
It’s probably not possible to ask here; you can try other ways. Are there any more dehydrogenations available?
On November 23, 2015, the 400,000 tons per year C3&C4 mixed dehydrogenation unit and the 200,000 tons per year n-butane isomerization unit at Shandong Shenchili Petrochemical Co., Ltd., whose design was carried out by our company, began operations successfully, with the product specifications meeting the design requirements.
