Operating environment: blast furnace slag equipment. The water medium contains water sludge, whose main component is silicate; it has a high hardness and can cause erosion to pipes and valves. A butterfly valve is required; may I ask which model to choose? Are there any special requirements?

For such operating conditions, V-ball valves or drain valves are suitable, while butterfly valves are not appropriate

Slag can easily wear out the sealing gasket of the butterfly valve.
For butterfly valves, at least a hard seal is required; ceramic butterfly valves can be used, but their price is very high
