Place the safety valve horizontally on the ground

Hello everyone, the safety valve of my device has been calibrated. Before reinstalling it, it was placed horizontally on the ground. I was wondering if this is acceptable, and whether it will cause any damage to the safety valve (Spring-loaded safety valve)
