Comparison between balanced orifice plates and standard orifice plates

As the title suggests, what are the advantages of balanced orifice plates compared to standard orifice plates? Which type is better for use in trade settlements when measuring steam?
Use the standard ones for trade settlements. Balance flow meters are more energy-efficient compared to standard orifice plates; we are already using balance flow meters for regulation and indication purposes within our factory.
It must be accurate for standard orifice plates. The balanced orifice plate is a custom-made product, and its advantage may be the shorter required straight pipe section.
The range ratio of balanced orifice plates is higher, and fewer straight sections are required. Disadvantages: It’s not from a legitimate manufacturer, and I’m not sure how the mathematical model works
