To be eligible to take the professional exam, one must have at least 5 years of experience in chemical engineering design work. My current employer does not possess design qualifications; it is merely an entity through which I carry out my work. However, both the name of the company that handles my social security payments (the company has two names) and its business license indicate that it is engaged in chemical engineering design. In this situation, I called the Guangdong Provincial Examination Center, and they said that the employer’s design qualifications are not taken into consideration, and I can still take the exam. Are there anyone else in similar situations? Do other provinces also not verify a company’s qualifications?
The problem I encountered in Sichuan was that when I called the office in Chengdu for inquiries, they said that design qualifications were not required for approval. However, when I applied, the reviewers in Luzhou said that the company must have design qualifications, adding that this is the standard procedure for approval. I’m very depressed.
So what to do in the end? There’s a post-exam review now, and if you fill in something wrong, all your efforts will be in vain
Also, they probably won’t audit the social insurance employer; the company I’m affiliated with can issue the stamp
A person from the Survey and Design Section of the Luzhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau said that there is no problem in taking the basic exam without having design qualifications, but for the specialized exams, one needs a work certificate issued by a unit or company with design qualifications; there are no requirements regarding social insurance or anything similar.
