I would like to ask, what are the general requirements for the disposal of solid waste? If there are relevant specifications, please list them. Can I discard it myself? It still needs to be handled through a contract with a company; our company mainly deals in adsorbents such as activated carbon and silica gel. Alumina, etc
It’s better to find someone qualified to handle it; this can’t be considered ordinary solid waste
Generally, it needs to be handled by a qualified organization
What type of activated carbon is it? Generally, coconut shell activated carbon is still in demand by buyers
Solid waste can be divided into general solid waste and hazardous solid waste. All solid waste must be collected separately by category and stored apart; open-air dumping is strictly prohibited. General solid waste can be divided into household waste and industrial waste. Household waste should be handed over to the sanitation authorities for disposal. Any production scraps that can be reused must be recycled comprehensively, while the rest should be collected by companies with the appropriate qualifications; dumping or burning them on one’s own is strictly prohibited. Hazardous waste must be disposed of by qualified entities through a disposal agreement, and an annual hazardous waste transfer plan must be submitted to the local environmental protection agency for record-keeping. Hazardous waste must be stored in specialized facilities for such waste. The transfer and disposal of hazardous waste must be carried out by qualified entities, and the five-way transfer document system must be strictly followed; at the same time, proper record-keeping is essential. If one illegally disposes of hazardous waste in a total amount of three tons or more, it constitutes a crime, and the offender may be sentenced to 3 to 7 years in prison. Activated carbon, silica gel, and similar materials used for absorption are considered hazardous solid waste due to the presence of organic substances in them.
First, find a qualified company to handle it; you can resolve the issue by paying money. The second batch of solid waste was mixed into coal and sent to the furnace for burning; be careful. Save money!

But our environmental impact assessment classifies these adsorbents as ordinary solid waste. That’s not the key point; the idea is that there are two ways to handle ordinary solid waste: 1) use them oneself, or 2) have qualified entities recycle and dispose of them if they cannot be used, right?
It must be handled legally, whether by oneself or by entrusting it to others; otherwise, there is a risk of going to jail
