This post was last edited by Refiner on 2016-7-10 at 14:48. Vacuum distillation gasoline is generally used as the feedstock for reprocessing; is a feedstock filter necessary, and what type of filter is the most effective?
Atmospheric gasoline is used as the feedstock for reformation; it first undergoes pre-hydrogenation. A filter with a mesh size of 20 to 30 is installed at the inlet of the pre-hydrogenation feed pump, while no fine filter is used for the feed oil.
Oh, I thought that just like with the diesel hydrogenation filter, a filter was also needed. Thank you!
It depends on your requirements regarding the cleanliness of the oil; it’s best to add one
Generally, a feed buffer tank is installed in front of the pre-hydrogenation feed pump to settle impurities, so there is no need for a filter. If a precision filter row is installed, it represents over-design.
Filtering and purification are still necessary; otherwise, the pressure drop in the reactor increases rapidly. Without it, one might turn their head once a year; with it, they can go three years without turning their head

If the filter gets clogged, replace its core; if the reactor gets clogged, then production must be halted for cleaning. :)
