Which range of DN sizes requires reinforcement plates for takeover?

Reinforcing rib plates are used for DN pipes within what range? There is no specified standard for this; is it because the pipe length is too large? Or, for which value of DN should reinforcement plates be used for support? I seek advice from experts
Used when DN≤25 with a protrusion length of ≥150 mm, or when DN≤45 with a protrusion length of ≥200 mm
According to HG/T 20583-2011, on page 445, when DN≤25 and the protrusion length is ≥150 mm, or when DN≤45 and the protrusion length is ≥200 mm, reinforcement is achieved using reducer pipes or rib plates. When the rib plate length is 200–300, the rib plate dimensions are 30x3 ； When the rib plate length is 301–400, the rib plate dimensions are 40x4. Generally, two horizontal connectors are installed, while three vertical connectors can be used and distributed evenly.
