58. Which of the following fall within the scope of work for the process (system) engineering field? A. Determine the process scheme, carry out process calculations, and prepare the Process Flow Diagram (PFD). B. Calculate and develop a preliminary Utility Flow Diagram (UFD). C. Participate in Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP). D. Be responsible for calculating the electrical load requirements of the facility. I think if one is majoring in process engineering, options A and B should be chosen; if one is majoring in systems engineering, option C should be chosen. For this question, I choose ABC. What do you all think?
A is definitely correct; B mentions UID in the book (Tianjin University’s professional review materials). C should be involved, and it seems that D does not mention this at all. The answers seem to be AC
