In the production workshop, there are metal hoses and black rubber hoses that connect to the equipment; due to angle issues, they always operate with a certain degree of bending. But it was found that the failure rate was very high; even after replacing them with new ones, they would break within two or three days. Can’t metal hoses and black rubber hoses be used while bent? Is it because of poor quality? Which indicators are not up to standard?
Metal hoses and rubber hoses aren’t incapable of being bent; it’s the degree of bending and the frequency of changes in that bending that matter. Bending beyond the bending polarity can easily lead to permanent deformation, or even breakage. The frequency of bending deformation (deformation that can return to its original state) is too high, accelerating fatigue damage and resulting in cracks. Methods to extend service life: 1. Do not exceed the bending polarity. 2. Reduce fatigue-induced damage by creating brackets with appropriate curvature based on the degree of bending (using rebar, thin iron tubes, etc.) to secure the hose in place.
Should we consider the design of a hydraulic cylinder? Scalable?
It’s aging too fast! Now the whole of China is producing this type of slag pipe, especially those rubber hoses with steel wires.

What medium? Temperature? Rubber hoses age easily, but they shouldn’t start leaking after just 2 or 3 days, right? Do you mean a flexible hose that is covered with a metal mesh on the outside but still has rubber inside?---
There is water inside the rubber. The inside of the flexible metal hose is lined with PTFE.
Depending on the actual operating conditions, a elbow can be added at the front or back end of the hose to reduce its bending
